On 15th October 2022, Saturday School had organized Fort Making Activity in the school campus. This activity was organized in the school to know the importance of forts in ruling the empire, to know the glorious past of the Maratha Empire which was founded by The Great king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj along with the mavlas. The activity started in the morning from 8.30 am to 12.00 pm. Students were divided into groups of 5 in each. Parents also participated in the activity enthusiastically. Class 6th to 10th students participated with joy and happiness. Rules and regulations were explained to the students before the competition. Students used their innovative ideas in fort making and prepared different replicas of forts like Raigarh, Rajgarh, Pratapgarh, Panhala, Lohagad, Sinhagadh, Shivneri, Jaldurga like Janjira, Sindhudurg, etc. Students also delivered the different ideas of making forts and the history of the forts. Students enjoyed the activity with the support of their parents. Students were guided by teachers, Vice Principal Mrs. Ashvini Mam & Co ordinator Mrs. Padmashri Mam. Students’ efforts were appreciated by the Teachers, parents and Management.
