On 24/08/2024, Ganesh International School and Sr Secondary, Chikhali organized a ‘World Sanskrit Day’ event. The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Professor Shri Subhash Maharaj Gathe, who guided the students. Various activities were organized for the students, including Sanskrit storytelling session for the students, as well as a Sanskrit speech competition . The program was hosted by the students.
Shri Vasudev Shewale explained the significance of Sanskrit Day to the attendees. Additionally, students performed a classical dance on the song ‘Mahabharata’ and student Anushree Banchod presented information about Maharishi Vyasa in Sanskrit. Another student, Archit Katruwar, shared information about the famous Sanskrit poet Kalidasa. S.S.P. Shikshan Sanstha’s Associate Director Mr. Sunil Shewale Sir guided the students on the occasion of Sanskrit Day. The Sanskrit teacher, Mr. Deepak Shinde, expressed gratitude at the end of the event, which concluded with a peace prayer. Special efforts for the success of the event were made by the Dept of Sanskrit Mr. Deepak Shinde, Miss. Sonali Jadhav, Mr. Arjun and Mr. Vasudev Shewale.
The event was attended by the S.S.P. Institutes Chairman Mr. S.B. Patil Sir Trustee, Mr. Ganesh Patil; Administrative Officer Mr. Prakash Gaikwad, Associate Director Mr. Sunil Shewale, Principal Mrs. Shilpa Gaikwad, Play School Principal, Mrs. Bharti Gadad; Coordinator, Mrs. Madhuri Yewale, Activity Coordinator Mr. Vinod Jagdale and all the Teaching & Non- Teaching Staff.
