A ‘POCSO Awareness Session’ was conducted at Ganesh International School, Chikhali, with the objective of creating awareness about the POCSO Act and emphasizing its importance in ensuring students’ safety and well-being in schools.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Abha Singh, POCSO Trainer, NABET Assessor, SQAAF Expert, and the respected Principal of Ganesh International Secondary & Sr. Secondary School, Chikhali. She provided detailed information about the POCSO Act and sensitized the staff about their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding children. The speaker also clearly explained the difference between the POCSO Committee and the POSH Committee, helping the attendees understand their distinct purposes and functions. The Vote of Thanks was presented by our teacher, Ms. Snehal Kulkarni Ma’am .
The session was attended by Playschool Principal Bharti Gadad Ma’am, Coordinators Vinod Jagdale Sir, Duhita Kulkarni Ma’am, Madhuri Yewale Ma’am, Vijayalakshmi Hake Ma’am and the teaching staff members.
