Independence Day Celebrations Ganesh International School & Sr. Secondary, Chikhali celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great patriotic zeal on 15th August 2025. The campus was beautifully decorated in tricolour, reflecting unity and nationalism.The celebration began with the Guard of Honour and Amar Jawan Salami, followed by the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, National Anthem, and Dhwaj Geet. Principal Abha Singh Ma’am welcomed the dignitaries — Col. Taroor Ravi Sir, Mr. Mahesh Nimbalkar, Mr. Ganesh Malekar, and Mr. Yash Sane, who were felicitated with respect.
Students presented an impressive Parade and Silent Drill dedicated to Operation Sindoor, showcasing discipline, unity, and teamwork. The cultural program included patriotic songs, speeches in Sanskrit, Hindi, and English by Anvay, Shaurya, and Samruddhi, a solo performance by Adhira Kale (Grade 1), and heartfelt speeches by Fatima and Anwit. The Chief Guest, Col. Taroor Ravi Sir, delivered an inspiring speech, motivating students to uphold freedom and responsibility. The event was graced by Trustee Mr. Ganesh Patil, Mr. Mangesh Patil, Associate Director Mr. Sunil Shewale, Dr. Praveen Sable, Mr. Abhijit Chavan, Sr. Principal Abha Singh, Playschool Principal Bharti Gadad, Primary Coordinator Duhita Kulkarni, Activity Coordinator Vinod Jagdale, and Playschool Coordinator Vijayalakshmi Hake.
The programme was anchored by Archit, Prasanna, Anup, Nikita, and Kavya, and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Head Girl Sameeksha. The celebration concluded with the soulful recitation of Pasayadan on Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s 750th birth anniversary, followed by Vande Mataram.
