Gurupurnima Celebration at GIS Chikhali✨
Ganesh International School, Chikhali, celebrated Gurupurnima with great devotion, enthusiasm, and reverence. A special assembly was organised to honour the invaluable role of ‘Gurus’ in shaping the lives of individuals.🌸
The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by our Principal, Mrs. Abha Singh, along with the Coordinators. Students beautifully presented the Thought for the Day and spoke about the significance of Gurupurnima, highlighting the importance of respecting and expressing gratitude towards teachers.
The celebration featured a variety of cultural performances, including a melodious song, a graceful dance, and a meaningful skit, depicting the timeless bond between Guru and Shishya and showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage.🏵️
Our Principal, Mrs. Abha Singh, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on the importance of teachers in guiding students towards knowledge, values, and success. The programme was confidently compered by our students, Shreya Bhutambe and Pratyush Ghuge.✨
