Republic Day Celebration at GIS, Chikhali 🇮🇳
The Republic Day celebration at GIS, Chikhali began with the escorting of the esteemed chief guests Commander Balraj Mane Sir, retired Navy Officer ⚓, and Mr. Ganesh Malekar Sir, Social Activist 🌟. Our school NCC troop presented a splendid Guard of Honour 🫡 to the dignitaries.
Following the unfurling of the National Flag 🚩, the school choir rendered the Jhanda Geet 🎶, filling the atmosphere with pride and patriotism. As per the government circular, the Preamble of the Constitution 📜 was recited by dignitaries, students, teachers, and parents, reflecting unity and national spirit.
Our Associate Director Mr. Sunil Shewale Sir and Principal Mrs. Abha Singh Ma’am warmly welcomed the guests and parents 🤝, marking the beginning of the grand celebration.
The highlight of the event was the impressive March Past Parade 🥁 performed by our students, showcasing discipline, coordination, and dedication. Inspiring speeches 🎤, graceful dance performances 💃🕺, and a melodious patriotic song 🎵 added charm and enthusiasm to the program.
🏆 House-wise trophies were awarded to the winners securing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions. Kaladarpan trophies 🎨 were also presented to the Principal and art teachers for their valuable contributions. The chief guest delivered a motivating speech, appreciating the efforts of students and teachers 🌟.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks 💐 proposed by Pre-Primary Coordinator Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Hake.
